As a young child, my mom took me to their shows at La Zona Rosa and I would dance around like a wild man, so it was a real honor to create this for them. I was really excited to mix my drawing style with some classic Austin band poster imagery for this design. There’s a ton of cool history surrounding the armadillo as an icon for the Austin music scene. Look up the “Armadillo World Headquarters” if you want to learn more about the scene back in the day!
