Matchday poster design for Austin FC -

Two verde giants hold hands amongst the oak trees as they watch the match below. Through competition and creativity, Austin FC and the Artist Initiative are building connections and community in Austin, and I was excited to contribute more of my art with this matchday poster!

Like the two oak trees in the Austin FC badge, the two creatures in my poster symbolize the connection between the city and the club. They also represent the creative and vibrant fan base that Austin FC is building. The orange color of the sun and some of the players connects the design to the October 24th (2021) match against Houston Dynamo FC.

The organic forms of trees and nature are a big inspiration in my work, so I had a lot of fun designing the towering wall of oak trees in this piece! Big thanks to Austin FC and their ATXFC Artist Initiative for giving me and many other artists a platform through this ongoing poster series :)
