A semi-mobile mural I made for Good Neighbor Fest in North Austin! This was commissioned for the event by local nonprofit We’re All Neighbors. They organize events to strengthen community bonds and build connections between diverse groups, and they’re just really nice folks! The core mission and values behind this event really resonate with my own personal values and creative goals, so I was excited and honored to create this piece.

The artwork celebrates the communal connections between individuals and nature, and it emphasizes the power of being open to new ideas and relationships. I also wanted to play with the idea of home by showing both traditional houses and a large tree as symbols of home. The tree represents the natural world, which is our original shared home that ties all humans together :)
